Through his professional and personal endeavors, Michael McDougell has demonstrated unwavering dedication to serving others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability. Michael has a deep personal commitment to supporting others through life’s challenges. He helped his widowed mother age in place for decades until it was no longer feasible. Michael has also assisted family and friends during difficult times, including moves, illnesses, and managing their personal finances. Notably, he served as a “Stephen Minister” at his church, offering one-on-one care to individuals facing significant life challenges such as grief, divorce, chronic illness, and financial troubles. His responsibilities included investigating the financial situations of elderly individuals to prevent exploitation. Michael has also been active in volunteer work, including providing tax assistance through the AARP Foundation and contributing to earlier tax initiatives with the Missouri Society of CPAs
